Culture and attractions in Trentino

Pergine Valsugana is a pictoresque and quiet village. With its 20,000 inhabitants it is almost city, but the nature is all around you.

The historic center of Pergine hosts many events throughout the year. In the summer, in addition to the numerous fairs and festivals, the calendar is full of events of film, theater, music.

One of the most anticipated events is Pergine Spettacolo Aperto, that hosts a review of theater and films, and dance workshops for young artists. It is the longest running festival of Trentino. The events are concentrated mainly in July, but the whole year is rich in events of great value.

In winter, the historic center hosts the charming Christmas Markets. Pergine turns into a romantic and traditional world, full of festive lights and sweet fragrances. You should also not miss similar markets in Levico Terme, in the wonderful park Habsburg Park, and those of Trento, both within a few minutes by train or car.

The Valsugana Valley is traversed throughout its length by the bike path. Along the valley there are lovely lakes, villages to visit, spa resorts (the most famous spas are the terme di Levico) , and open-air art exhibitions (Arte Sella) .

Trento, the capital of the region, is just 12 km away, with a medieval old town, the cBuonconsiglio Castle and many museums - the most recent being the MUSE, the museum of science.

If you have never been there, you must also visit Venice. The train station is just 5 minutes' walk from our Agriturismo, and there is a very convenient direct connection to the Venezia S. Lucia station, at the heart of the romantic city.
